At CES 2019 this month Antec has unveiled a new silent PC case in the form of the Antec P101 Silent Case which is now available to purchase priced at $110. Building on the previously launched silent PC cases the P101 Silent has been designed for high-end configuration and measures 527 mm x 232 mm x 506 mm (L x W x H) in size.
Antec has added an opening front panel for easy access to the large magnetic dust filter and the front intake which houses three 120 white blade fans pre-installed in front and one 140 mm fan in the rear. The P101 Silent PC case is capable of accommodating a wide variety of form factors including E-ATX, ATX, Micro-ATX and ITX. As well as providing space for up to eight 3.5″ HDDs (convertible for eight 2.5″ SSDs) and two 2.5″ SDDs, a 5.25″ optical disk drive bay as well as eight expansion slots.
“To keep its cool, the P101 Silent offers space for 3×120 mm or 2x140mm case fans in the front and one 120 or 140 mm fan in the rear. The thought-out case allows for installing a 360 mm in the front and a 140 mm radiator in the rear. The front bezel features two white LED lit USB 3.0 slots, two white LED lit USB 2.0 slots, MIC/AUDIO(HD),Power and Reset button as well as a 3-speed fan controller (high / stop / low) The side panels of this ATX mid-tower feature sound dampening foam lining on the top, side and front panels to block noise.”
